Homer’s Coffee House has made its home in downtown Overland Park, Kansas. In September 2026, we will be celebrating 25 years in Downtown OP! Our mission is to serve our guests exceptional coffee with unusual kindness, foster true community, and practice compassion.
Service was amazing, both the girls working were so kind and funny. The coffee was amazing, not too sweet not too bitter. The cinnamon coffee cake was out of this world, best dessert i've ever eaten. I highly recommend coming to Homers Coffee House. Not one crumb left.
Loved the Thai coffee, it was super sweet! Lots of places to sit. There are different snacks available, including fresh fruit and muffins! They have some gifts as well, I love the local chapstick I picked up- strawberry rhubarb scent!
This is a wonderful place to enjoy a cup of coffee, there is something about this places that makes it so special. I can sit there and feel at peace doing absolutely nothing or working on my computer, also they have a printer available for customers if they need to print something out, the atmosphere here is so relaxing I just want to sit there and drink coffee. Also I love their protein balls and their frozen Drinks!
This is the best coffee house in Johnson County. Amazing drinks and food, and perfect vibes whether you are meeting friends for a chat or cozying up with your laptop and a drink to get work done.
I always stop into this coffee shop anytime I travel through the KC area. It is such an incredibly special place for me and has been for almost 15 years now.
